Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Product Development Specialist to spearhead the development of cutting-edge specialized nutrition products. In this strategic role, you will drive the entire product pipeline from concept to launch, ensuring each product meets scientific, health, and regulatory standards while appealing directly to consumer needs. Your leadership will be vital in shaping the future of the category and delivering impactful, high-quality solutions to health-conscious consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and creation of innovative, consumer-focused nutritional products that balance scientific integrity, health benefits, and market trends.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to accelerate product development and foster category growth.
- Serve as the technical lead for projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee the qualification and validation of new formulations, ensuring consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop formulations rooted in “right-by-design” principles, incorporating risk mitigation and documentation best practices.
- Act as the voice of SN R&I in project teams, championing technological excellence and innovation.
What We’re Looking For
- A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering, Bio-Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Nutrition Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in product development or R&D, ideally within specialized nutrition.
- Strong technical expertise in formulation design and product development tools.
- Solid understanding of quality standards and food safety regulations relevant to nutritional products.
- Practical knowledge of qualifications, validation processes, and project management essentials.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with an ability to inspire and collaborate effectively.
