About the Role:
As a Development Engineer, Designs and develops high precision cutting elements for grooming and beauty appliances, from concept to mass production. Translates user, commercial, and functional needs into robust technical specifications with a strong focus on quality and performance. Engineer’s manufacturable mechanical solutions in metal and plastic, ensuring reliability and scalability. Leads and collaborates within multidisciplinary teams, applying DFMEA, V-model, and modern development practices. Contributes expert insight to product roadmaps and strategic decisions while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop cutting elements end-to-end for grooming and beauty appliances, from initial concept through validation and release for mass production.
- Translate user, commercial, and functional requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring performance, quality, and reliability standards are met.Design and engineer precision mechanical components using 3D CAD, focusing on manufacturability, durability, and cost-effective production.
- Lead and contribute within cross-functional development teams, managing development activities, conducting DFMEAs, and applying the V-model methodology.
- Drive technical excellence and innovation by planning experiments, analyzing results, solving complex engineering challenges, and contributing to product roadmaps and strategy.


Requirements:
- Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical / Biomechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Product development experience: Around 2+ years of experience in consumer product or mechanical product development, preferably involving precision components.
- Technical design skills: Strong proficiency in 3D CAD for designing precise mechanical constructions; experience with metal and plastic part design for mass manufacturing.
- Engineering & analysis expertise: Knowledge of precision engineering, manufacturability (processes, tools, equipment), and mechanical analysis such as strength, stiffness, and drive mechanisms.
- Development & innovation mindset: Experience in setting up and analyzing experiments, strong problem-solving skills, and motivation to grow into senior or lead engineering roles; exposure to DfSS (Greenbelt), FEM, or Python is a plus.
