Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic IT Procurement Lead to drive the global sourcing and vendor management strategy for IT, including the SAP ecosystem. In this role, you will act as a trusted business partner for IT and play a pivotal part in supporting the company's digital, data-driven transformation initiatives. the successful candidate will lead strategic sourcing, manage vendor relationships, and optimize IT procurement processes to deliver sustainable value, cost efficiencies, and innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global category strategy for IT procurement, aligned with business goals over a three-year horizon.
- Establish and lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes with key IT suppliers to maximize performance, foster innovation, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Partner with IT teams to enhance relationship management with SAP and other strategic vendors, cultivating mature collaborations.
- Implement and oversee governance structures that promote trust, transparency, and performance accountability with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support IT in aligning vendor ecosystems with industry best practices regarding technology, architecture, security, and compliance.
- Manage contract lifecycle activities—including negotiations, renewals, and exits—to ensure value delivery and risk mitigation within the SAP landscape.
- Contribute to SAP transformation initiatives by optimizing product ownership and contracting strategies for the next 3-5 years.
- Oversee non-strategic vendor relationships in the SAP domain, ensuring efficient management and cost control through close collaboration with global procurement and IT teams.

Requirements:
- University (master’s) or postgraduate degree.
- Over 8 years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, and sourcing, with strong - - - -
- knowledge of global IT markets and SAP.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing large IT service suppliers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and remote teams.
- Experience with procurement tools such as COUPA is a plus.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset.
- Proactive nature with the ability to quickly establish relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
