Role description
As Demand Planning Manager, you oversee the consolidated 0–18 month demand plan, lead the Demand Planning team, and act as the key link between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance within the S&OP process. You ensure strong forecast performance, smooth demand consolidation, and effective communication across stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the demand planning process and consolidate inputs into the FU S&OP demand plan.
- Facilitate Demand Review meetings and communication of (pre-)S&OP decisions.
- Represent commercial needs such as NPD, promotions, tenders, and seasonality.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy and drive scenario planning.
- Coordinate constraining and allocation activities.
- Support tender volume processes.
- Lead or support projects across Customer Supply Chain.
- Own KPI dashboards and reporting.
- Manage and develop the Demand Planning team.
- Bachelor/Master in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar.
- 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting, S&OP and FMCG environments.
- Experience with SAP, APO, OMP, Power BI and Excel.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to manage complexity.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
- APICS or similar certification preferred.
