Role Description 
 As a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all production lines and utilities. You will work on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, process optimization, and technical improvements within a food-safe, high-precision production environment. You will collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Technical Service teams to maintain high equipment availability and support operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
 - Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on slicing, portioning, labeling, and packaging equipment
 - Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system issues
 - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement long-term preventive solutions
 - Support and initiate continuous improvement activities using Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies
 - Participate in automation and modernization projects related to slicing and packaging technologies
 - Ensure all work complies with safety, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP, CE, NEN)
 - Execute LOTO procedures, inspections, and technical safety checks
 - Manage work orders, equipment history, and documentation in SAP PM
 - Maintain technical drawings, instructions, and spare-parts data


Requirements
 - MBO-4 / HBO in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology
 - 5–8 years of maintenance experience in production environments (food preferred)
 - Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge
 - Experience with slicing, portioning, or packaging equipment is an advantage
 - Experience with SAP PM
 - Knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, or SCADA is a plus
 - Familiarity with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and food safety standards (HACCP, BRC/IFS)
 - Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on mindset
