Role description
As a Lab Technician (Sample Management), you will play a key role in supporting Quality Control operations by managing samples with precision and compliance. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment. You will work in shifts and ensure adherence to GxP standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in QC sample management areas.
• Manage Kanban areas and follow effective procedures at all times.
• Complete mandatory GxPLearn and Glearn training promptly.
• Escalate deviations and non-conformities.
• Execute small improvement projects.
• Receive and distribute QC samples and EM plates.
• Transfer samples between -80°C and LN2 storage.
• Perform Aph accession and dispose of samples according to procedures.
• Support other QC teams when required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Secondary Laboratory Education (MLO level 3/4 or equivalent).
• Hands-on mentality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic laboratory techniques; QC experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal communication and English reading skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and SOPs.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
• Car driver preferred due to shift times (availability from 07:00 until midnight).

• 2 days off
• 4 days evening shift
