The Role
As a Supply Chain Manager within the Supply Planning team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that patients receive their medicines on time. You will manage short-, medium-, and long-term production plans for packaging lines and products, ensuring flawless execution and stability across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and manage short-term and mid-term production planning for packaging lines and products, ensuring timely delivery and operational stability.
-Create mid- and long-term production plans, manage product launches and phase-outs, and ensure smooth transitions.
-Monitor and measure weekly and monthly KPIs (e.g., Master Production Schedule stability) and implement improvement actions.
-Participate in daily operational meetings to oversee performance and coordinate actions across departments.
-Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and global supply chain teams; lead weekly capacity meetings to align on realistic supply plans.
-Drive process standardisation, simplification, and automation in daily operations and cross-functional projects.
-Lead continuous improvement initiatives and conduct root cause analyses to prevent disruptions and reduce costs.
-Ensure compliance with GMP and GDP guidelines while maintaining supply chain efficiency.
What We Expect From You
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning or production planning, preferably in a regulated environment.
-Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively across teams.
-Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
-Familiarity with GMP/GDP is an advantage.
-Passion for process automation and standardisation; experience or interest in tools such as Tableau, Smartsheet, Data Bricks, or RPA is preferred.
-Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
-Ability to work on-site at least three days per week.
