Role description
As an Account Specialist CS within the Customer Service Department, you will manage a dedicated customer portfolio and oversee domestic and/or export order fulfilment. Your responsibilities include processing orders, checking product availability, coordinating transportation and delivery, and ensuring accurate invoicing. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving operational challenges and supporting other business units when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle requests promptly and professionally.
- Serve as the main interface with Planning, Sales, Business, and Supply Chain teams to optimise customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate Customer Master Data in SAP in collaboration with the Master Data team.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and ethical practices.
- Provide backup support across all businesses within the group and act as a go-to person for operational issues.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years in Customer Service and/or Supply Chain.
- Full professional proficiency in German and English (written and verbal).
- Strong IT skills, including SAP and MS Office.
- Understanding of the Order-to-Cash process and related business procedures.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Location: Rotterdam.
Work settings: Up to 2 days remote work.
