Role Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Laboratory Assistant to support the setup and execution of tastings, manage sample stock and raw materials, and maintain our state-of-the-art facility. You'll be the go-to person for visitors, suppliers, and closely collaborate with our Berlin-based development team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, well-organized lab environment
- Coordinate and prepare plant-based product tastings
- Manage raw material and sample inventories
- Handle orders, shipments, and supplier interactions
- Support food safety (HACCP) compliance
- Assist developers with product preparation and trials
Requirements
- Technical degree in Food Technology (BSc max, plant-based focus is a plus)
- 1–2 years of hands-on lab or food production experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Fluent in English (Dutch/German are a plus)
