About the Role
As a Fermentation Technician in the bacteriological production department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of vaccine production. You’ll be part of a motivated team, supporting the production of high-quality antigens used in animal health vaccines. This role offers hands-on experience with advanced cultivation techniques and opportunities for personal development.

Responsibilities
- Manage goods flow and ensure availability of materials for production teams
- Receive and order goods, maintain warehouse inventory
- Operate and load autoclaves
- Participate in all stages of the production process, from media preparation to cultivation and downstream processing
- Handle GMP documentation and ensure compliance
- Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with teams
- Engage in continuous learning and development, including Lean/Six Sigma training
- Maintain quality and safety standards during production
- Record and follow up on deviations from procedures or equipment issues

Requirements
- Affinity with pharmaceutical production environments
- Strong motivation to understand production processes
- Awareness of quality and safety standards
- Proficient communication skills in Dutch (spoken and written)
- Experience working in cleanrooms (preferred)
- Yellow Belt certified or willing to obtain certification
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Flexibility to work occasional shifted hours (no shift work)
- Experience with GMP (preferred)
