Role Description
The Construction Manager will lead the on-site execution of CAPEX projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. The role involves coordinating contractors, managing site logistics, enforcing safety and quality standards, and collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams. This position requires strong industrial construction expertise

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site management of construction activities for CAPEX projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring all work complies with specified standards and safety regulations.  
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to meet project milestones and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee site logistics, permits, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and report performance metrics to stakeholders regularly.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies throughout all phases of construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience managing industrial CAPEX construction projects.
• Proven track record of safely delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
