Job Description
The Packaging Innovation Project Manager is responsible for leading packaging transformation initiatives within the early life nutrition category. This role involves developing and implementing innovative packaging strategies that enhance brand value, meet consumer expectations, and support sustainability goals. Working closely with global and local teams, the manager ensures timely delivery of high-quality packaging solutions that align with business objectives and market needs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and lead packaging strategies to support category growth and innovation efforts.
- Define consumer and brand value propositions for packaging projects, ensuring innovations deliver measurable brand, business, and sustainability benefits.
- Build strong, evidence-based business cases with input from Finance, R&D, Operations, and Sustainability teams to inform project prioritization and investments.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with teams such as R&D, Sustainability, Operations, Procurement, and Design.
- Partner with Insights and User Experience teams to embed consumer understanding and design thinking into packaging development.
- Manage all marketing-related activities like concept testing, claims development, packaging design, and communication readiness to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Collaborate with local teams to adapt global packaging innovations for regional markets, ensuring relevance, market readiness, and successful local activation.
- Support the integration of new packaging formats within existing brand strategies, considering brand storytelling, positioning, and trade activation.

Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing and innovation, preferably in early life nutrition or related sectors.
- Proven track record in packaging transformation or innovation projects at a global or regional level.
- Strong understanding of consumer insights, brand equity, and business model development.
- Experience working across international, multifunctional teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, data interpretation, and decision-making skills.
- Resilient and capable of managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
- Organized, proactive, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
