Job Description
As a Quality System Specialist you will drive quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves setting and maintaining quality standards, supporting product safety and compliance, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory adherence.
 
Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate project teams on Quality Management System procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Ensure products meet relevant quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IEC guidelines.
  • Drive improvements based on feedback from earlier projects and market insights, focusing on safety and quality.
  • Communicate regularly on quality status, compliance, and field complaints to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage risk assessments, ensuring all risks are properly identified and mitigated.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving during design and manufacturing phases.
  • Use field performance data to report on product quality, providing feedback to manufacturing, suppliers, and design teams, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
  • Act as the key contact to ensure hardware/software designs meet quality and compliance standards at each stage of product development.
 
Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid knowledge of consumer product regulations and standards such as IEC60335-1 and ISO9001.
  • Experience in quality management within B2B durable goods, ideally in appliances or similar products, with supplier and complaint management background.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively across global teams, including remote collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on detail as well as the big picture.
  • Fluency in English.
