The client is a French multinational that has an R&D-driven presence in the Netherlands, focusing on the research, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and vaccines, including treatments for oncology, cardiology, and rare diseases.
Role Description
As a Senior Supply Chain Coordinator, you will serve as a key operational link between the client’s global supply chain and its intercompany and third-party customers outside Europe. Reporting to the Manager of Global Customer Service, your role ensures seamless coordination of supply activities, customer care, and compliance across diverse markets.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary contact for local supply chain teams, managing order status, delivery tracking, and resolving supply exceptions.
- Handling humanitarian shipments, registration samples, and pre-registration orders.
- Ensuring all shipping documentation is complete and compliant, including batch assignment, pro forma invoices, and bank documentation for Letters of Credit.
- Maintaining accurate customer master data, pricing, and trade compliance records.
- Logging and following up on complaints, claims, and deviations. Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Monitoring customer demand and its impact on short-term planning. Collaborating with internal teams to manage unplanned demand and optimize supply chain responsiveness.
- Working closely with Finance, Regulatory, Distribution, Planning, and Quality teams, as well as external logistics providers and business partners, to ensure end-to-end supply chain performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in customer service within a similar industry, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong customer focus, organizational skills, and resilience under pressure.
- Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to change.
- Skilled in process thinking and visual presentation.
- Collaborative team player with coaching abilities.
- Experience with SAP and Rapid Response is a plus.
- Solid understanding of international customer service, regulatory, and commercial processes.
- Familiarity with finance, planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational excellence.
