The Company
The client is one of the Netherlands’ biggest dairy products manufacturers who is also active globally. 

Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Supply Chain team for an assignment, starting as soon as possible. In this role, you will focus on Design to Value projects. Your mission is to optimize product value and reduce costs by aligning commercial goals with internal and external production capabilities. You’ll act as the central link between departments such as R&D, QA, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, ensuring smooth project execution and high-quality outcomes. 

Responsibilities

  • Leading and delivering Design to Value and renovation projects on time, within budget, and according to scope.
  • Managing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring effective collaboration across departments.
  • Preparing and managing CAPEX requests and developing business cases with expert team members.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely project documentation using Principal Toolbox.
  • Reporting on project progress and ensuring compliance with the client’s internal quality and governance standards.
  • Supporting multiple commercial business units across Europe (and occasionally beyond) in launching and optimizing dairy products. 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MSc, MA, or MBA) in a relevant field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong track record in project management.
  • Solid understanding of product and packaging development processes.
  • Familiarity with customer supply chain operations and cross-functional business networks.
  • Strong skills in business planning, stakeholder management, and project execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Experience in Marketing and Supply Chain collaboration.
  • Basic financial acumen and experience with budgeting and business case development.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and flexible mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Energetic, entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
