Role Description
A Test & Verification Architect defines and drives verification strategies for medical devices, ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC standards. The role involves leading design verification activities, managing defects, developing test methods, and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality, compliant products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead verification work packages, assigning responsibilities within the team and ensuring timely execution of activities.
  • Identify and resolve design verification issues through root cause analysis, defect management, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure high-quality verification evidence in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal processes.
  • Provide technical expertise during design reviews and contribute to risk management activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing verification processes and methodologies.
  • Build and maintain an effective global Test & Verification (T&V) network to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in design verification, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of hardware testing methodologies, engineering principles, and design control processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including FDA, ISO 13485, IEC, and ISO 17025.
