About the Role
As a Logistics Sourcing Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of operational contact between logistics vendors, procurement, and internal stakeholders. Your key focus will be on managing transportation rates, processing invoices accurately and promptly, and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage logistics purchases, payments, and rate updates across regions or sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with vendors and implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor vendor payment performance and support procurement with spend analysis and vendor insights.
- Handle logistics service issue resolution and maintain accurate records of freight costs, fuel surcharges, and spot rates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
