Role Description
We are looking for a Logistics Supply Chain Specialist to join our Global Logistics & Compliance team. This role is the key operational link between logistics vendors, procurement, and internal stakeholders driving accurate rate management, timely invoice processing, and quick resolution of discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for logistics purchases and payments at a site or regional level.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of transportation invoices.
- Manage freight rate databases and upload rates following contract changes or tenders.
- Troubleshoot invoice discrepancies and work with vendors to resolve disputes.
- Monitor vendor payment performance and ensure compliance with agreed timelines.
- Take ownership of logistics service issue resolution and drive process improvements.
- Create goods receipts for fixed and variable logistics costs.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas; VBA a plus).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
