HSE Manager – Meppel, Netherlands
Our client, a leading global player in the food production industry, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join their plant in Meppel. This is a unique opportunity to shape a culture of safety, health, and sustainability at one of the region’s key production sites.
What you’ll do
-Lead the SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) strategy and embed it across the organization
-Be part of the Plant Management Team and influence strategic & operational decisions
-Drive continuous improvement in safety, sustainability, and compliance
-Oversee crisis management processes and ensure effective communication during incidents
-Manage the SHE budget and project portfolio while engaging with diverse stakeholders
What we’re looking for
-HBO working/thinking level with relevant education (safety, environment, engineering, management)
-Completed HVK, IVK, or MoSHE training
-Solid experience in a comparable SHE role within a production environment
-Knowledge of ISO systems, RI&E processes, and relevant legislation/regulations
-Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and coaching skills
