Role Description
As SHE Officer, you are responsible for developing and executing the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policy at the site. Your role ensures compliance with legislation and corporate standards, while proactively minimizing risks and enhancing overall safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor SHE policies, KPIs, and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct audits, accident analyses, and manage risk assessments (RI&E).
- Coordinate emergency response (BHV), safety training, and employee onboarding.
- Liaise with internal teams and external authorities on safety matters.
- Provide input on SHE strategy, projects, and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- HBO degree in Safety Science (or MBO with 8–10 years / HBO with 4–6 years relevant experience).
- Extensive knowledge of SHE and safety processes within production environments.
- Hands-on experience with audits, compliance, stakeholder management, and training delivery.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining SHE standards.
- Proficiency in Dutch is mandatory.
