The Company
The company is a global chemical company and one of the largest producers of plastics, chemicals, and refining products. It specializes in the production of polypropylene, polyethylene, advanced polymers, and other chemicals used in a wide range of industries, including packaging, automotive, and construction.     

Role Description
As a Static Work Planner, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating maintenance activities on static equipment such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Your role ensures that all work is thoroughly planned, safely executed, and efficiently documented. You’ll act as a key link between technical teams, suppliers, and internal departments to guarantee smooth operations and compliance with safety and quality standards. 

Responsibilities

  • Work preparing – developing detailed work packages including instructions and required materials, ordering necessary tools, equipment, and materials, developing draft safety protocols such as work permits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations (e.g., PED), perform cost estimations and calculations.
  • Planning & coordination – creating execution plans for maintenance activities, creating Coordinate tasks across departments like operations and planning, overseeing safe and efficient execution of work, documentation & management, maintaining technical documentation including P&IDs, isometric drawings, specifications, and maintenance records, ensuring all necessary documents are available and up to date.
  • Communication - liaising with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers, participating in team meetings and prepare progress reports.
  • Quality & safety - ensuring adherence to industrial quality standards (QA/QC), monitoring safety during execution and intervene when needed.
  • Additional tasks - supporting in preparing quotations and cost estimates, contributing to process improvements, developing standard task lists and instructions. 

Requirements 

  • MBO+/HBO level education, preferably in mechanical engineering or process technology.
  • Technical knowledge of static equipment and piping systems.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings (P&IDs, isometrics).
  • Familiarity with work planning and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and QA/QC processes.
  • Independent, proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented.
  • Flexible and able to perform under pressure.
