The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Operations Engineer to join their maintenance team, a dynamic group of skilled professionals working together to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the company’s facilities. You will play a key role in maintaining smooth production processes for custom-made, life-changing medicines.
Responsibilities
-Ensure reliable and efficient production processes by managing preventive and corrective maintenance.
-Conduct daily team meetings to discuss malfunctions and coordinate technicians and contractors, prioritizing work orders.
-Develop, implement, and optimize maintenance plans based on analysis and technician feedback.
-Perform risk analyses and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
-Manage maintenance contracts with external partners and ensure compliance with procedures.
-Coordinate corrective maintenance while monitoring quality and prioritizing projects.
-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department and across facilities.
-Ensure compliance with safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
-Senior-level experience in industrial or pharmaceutical maintenance environments.
-Strong focus on plant availability, risk management, and problem-solving.
-Knowledge of Dutch laws, electrical standards, and regulations.
-Required certifications: NEN 3140; NEN 1010 is a plus.
