Role Description
As a Facility Technician, you will be part of the Hard Services Maintenance Team, ensuring the seamless operation of our offices and laboratory facilities. From HVAC and electrical systems to safety checks and minor repairs, your expertise will help us maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. Your contribution directly supports our mission to improve the lives of cancer patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical and structural maintenance on our office and laboratory facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in technical installations.
- Register and process service requests in facility management systems.
- Conduct safety and compliance checks, including legionella inspections.
- Supervise external technicians and provide support during maintenance projects.
- Manage tools, materials, and stock for repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with facility-related projects, office moves, and event setups.
- Participate in the on-call duty rotation outside of regular working hours.
Requirements
- MBO-level education in a technical field.
- Valid VCA VOL certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in a laboratory environment is a strong plus.
- Hands-on technical or facility support background.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do mindset.
- Good command of both Dutch and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with facility management tools.
