Role Description
A logistics operation in Wolvega is looking for a Logistics Shift Manager to lead a team of 20–25 employees in a 3-shift system. This is a shift-based role in a high-paced, automated production environment. The main goal is to manage daily logistics operations while driving continuous improvement and effective collaboration within the team.

Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of 20–25 employees across 3 shifts
- Oversee logistics processes: cheese reception, pre-processing, removal, and warehousing
- Handle and report any deviations or issues during the shift
- Participate in Daily Control Logistics and support PCS implementation
- Plan personnel, manage attendance, and supervise absenteeism
- Lead improvement projects using WCOM tools (Lean, TPM, 6 Sigma, etc.)
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to logistics rules

Requirements
- HBO-level education, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in logistics/production (food industry is a plus)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Familiar with Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma improvement methods
- Able to balance strategic thinking with daily operations
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
- Willing to work shifts
