Role Description
As a Senior IT Buyer with solid experience in IT procurement, including software, SaaS, and IT services, you will be responsible for developing category strategies, driving sourcing activities, and managing supplier relationships to support the business and digital transformation goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT category strategies in alignment with procurement and business objectives.
- Deliver cost savings, productivity improvements, and maximize business value through structured procurement approaches.
- Maintain strong market intelligence by engaging with suppliers, attending conferences, and conducting market studies.
- Lead sourcing activities including RFIs/RFQs, supplier selection, and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and effective contract management in collaboration with Legal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT & Data teams, regional procurement, and global suppliers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant procurement experience in IT categories.
- Strong expertise in category management, sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
- Proven ability to deliver cost optimization and value creation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of IT services, software, SaaS, and digital transformation trends.
- Experience working in a global and cross-functional environment.
