Role description
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and qualifying a wide range of equipment and instrumentation used in the production of medical devices. You’ll work under the direction of the Engineering Manager and closely collaborate with the manufacturing, engineering, and facilities teams to ensure operational compliance and equipment readiness.


Key responsibilities

  • Perform and coordinate timely calibration of equipment according to planned schedules
  • Approve calibration work orders and ensure timely execution
  • Support calibration and qualification of new equipment, including data entry into calibration systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in production processes
  • Initiate and support resolution of nonconformances identified during calibration
  • Collaborate with engineering to implement preventive maintenance plans and equipment data systems
  • Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance at all times
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow company safety and quality procedures
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements
  • Experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with calibration systems, data entry, and spreadsheet tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and problem-solving methods
  • Ability to work independently and shift priorities when needed
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or English
