Role description
As a Laboratory Support Specialist, you'll have a crucial role in upholding our lab's day-to-day functions. This involves maintaining and preparing lab equipment, ensuring lab cleanliness and orderliness, and aiding researchers and scientists in their experiments and projects.
Responsibilities
- Take care of animals daily by feeding them, providing water, and cleaning their enclosures.
- Perform biotechnical procedures on animals, following animal welfare rules and using anaesthesia when needed.
- Conduct animal studies on your own.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test protocols, and work instructions.
- Adhere to quality systems like Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Minimum of an MBO-4 diploma.
- Passion for animals and a strong commitment to animal welfare.
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP quality systems.
