Our client is the leading fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company in the Benelux region, operating across multiple product categories.

The Role

As an Artwork Production Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the creation, approval, and delivery of packaging artwork from design lock to print-ready files. You will act as the key link between internal teams and external clients, ensuring artwork is delivered accurately, on time, and to the highest brand and print standards. Your work directly supports the successful launch of client products across various markets.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full artwork process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packaging artwork for multiple clients.
  • Act as the main artwork contact for client brand teams, ensuring alignment with their design guidelines and project timelines.
  • Coordinate and lead pre-production meetings with design and print partners to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Review and ensure design files are technically correct and print-ready before production.
  • Manage projects within the internal artwork management system (e.g., BLUE), tracking progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Approve color proofs and, when needed, attend or coordinate press pass checks to ensure the final printed output meets client expectations.
  • Monitor artwork costs and optimize print choices to support client cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain) to meet client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific processes, standards, and vendor agreements.
  • Support the creation and delivery of digital pack and hero images for eCommerce and marketing channels.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in artwork management, print production, packaging development, or a related field.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple client projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational awareness and problem-solving ability.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); experience working with international clients is a plus.

  • Proficient in digital tools and systems; experience with artwork management platforms (e.g., BLUE) is an advantage.
