Our client is dairy cooperative with international presence, formed by dairy farmers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The company has a large product range including milk, yoghurts, baby and infant nutrition, cheese, butter and several locations in the Netherlands.
Role Description
As an All-round Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions to minimize production downtime
- Propose and implement optimizations in maintenance processes and plans
- Support and guide third-party contractors ensuring safety and hygiene compliance
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and support production staff and fellow mechanics
- Log maintenance activities and fault analyses in SAP
- Be part of a rotational on-call duty schedule (approximately once every 9 weeks)
Requirement
- Completed MBO4 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience as a mechanic in a production or industrial environment
- Strong sense of ownership, service orientation, and problem-solving mindset
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Good communication skills with an eye for safety and quality
- Familiarity with SAP and continuous improvement methods is a plus
- Proficiency in Dutch; English is a plus but not required
