Role Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Lead to oversee high-impact automation and engineering projects within their biologics division. This position is perfect for a technically-minded leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and excels at turning capital investment initiatives into successful, on-time results.
Responsibilities

Drive capital investment projects from concept to completion within automation and manufacturing systems

Lead multidisciplinary teams with a focus on execution, compliance, and value delivery

Define project goals, timelines, scope, and budget in collaboration with business stakeholders

Communicate project progress to sponsors, stakeholders, and senior leadership
-
Manage procurement, contracts, and third-party vendor relationships
-
Ensure project outcomes meet GMP, safety, and operational standards
-
Apply enterprise-standard methodologies (e.g., FPX) to project execution
-
Mentor and support project team members in best practices and continuous improvement
Requirements
-
5–7 years of experience in multidisciplinary environments; 3+ years in project leadership roles

Master’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (engineering preferred)

Proven experience in capital project management within life sciences or manufacturing

Strong critical thinking, risk management, and digital/tech acumen
-
Familiarity with GMP and regulatory requirements for API manufacturing
-
PMP certification is preferred
