The Role
As a Supplier quality engineer you will manage the raw material supply chain, ensuring suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. The role involves process improvements, failure investigations, and collaborating across teams to support product design, new introductions, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and optimize the raw material supply chain to meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
  • Lead and participate in supplier-related projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct failure investigations and implement corrective actions for material defects.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (GMP, quality standards) with suppliers and manufacturing processes.
  • Apply Six Sigma, Lean, and process improvement tools to enhance supplier performance.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and design changes.
  • Manage project budgets, approvals, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, R&D, Operations) and global suppliers.
  • Lead or participate in cross-site raw material projects (e.g., Groningen, Kulim, Anasco)                              
Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Materials Science) and 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong expertise in plastic injection molding, materials, part/tool design, and GD&T.

  • Proficiency in Six Sigma, Lean, Project Management, and experience in a regulated medical industry (GMP, compliance).

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch proficiency preferred) and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
