Role Description
Join a global team at the forefront of trade compliance, where strategy meets execution. As a Global Trade Compliance & Customs Manager, you will lead initiatives that shape policy, enhance operational processes, and ensure alignment with international trade regulations. You’ll support import and export activities across the organization, delivering compliance excellence while collaborating cross-functionally to uphold global standards and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage import and export activities, ensuring adherence to internal policies and applicable customs and trade regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance on Trade Compliance to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Trade Compliance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational trade issues.
  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in trade laws and customs regulations.
  • Collaborate across departments to align compliance with business planning.
  • Liaise with customs authorities and third parties to resolve issues.
  • Track and report key trade compliance performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) and similar global trade certifications and authorizations.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree and 4 years of Trade Compliance experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Trade Compliance experience
  • Certification in EU customs procedures
  • Knowledge of international customs laws and WTO regulations
  • Well versed in key customs processes including valuation, commodity classification, and country of origin determination.
  • Experience in EU customs procedures and other complex customs matters
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of GMP/GDP regulations and requirements is a plus.
  • Experience or education in international trade law
