Role Summary
As a Senior Construction Supervisor, you will lead construction projects on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will also act as a technical safety expert, improving and maintaining site safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Supervision:
- Supervise daily construction activities and project execution
- Coordinate workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure timely planning and implementation of safety permits and plans
- Monitor work quality and resolve issues on-site
- Communicate with project stakeholders
Safety Leadership:
- Oversee and improve safety systems and procedures (e.g., permit to work, LOTOTO)
- Conduct safety risk assessments and training
- Lead or support safety audits and inspections
- Investigate incidents and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coach team members on EH&S improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in construction supervision
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ISO14001 and safety management systems
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
- MVK (Secondary Safety Expert) certification is a plus
- Able to work effectively in complex, changing environments
