The Role
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Technical Field Engineer to join our team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-precision optical systems. This role is based at a dedicated site focused on optics and advanced imaging technologies. In this position, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, ensuring the reliable performance of complex equipment. You’ll deliver hands-on support both on-site and remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
-Set up, configure, and verify the performance of optical instruments and systems at customer locations.
-Conduct both preventative and corrective maintenance on advanced technological equipment.
-Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, delivering prompt solutions to reduce operational interruptions.
-Accurately record all service activities, including maintenance details and technical reports.
-Provide user training on equipment operation, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
-Work closely with engineering and product support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
-Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and solution-oriented approach at all times.


Requirements
-A technical qualification in Engineering, Mechatronics, Optics, Electronics, or a related discipline.
-Demonstrated experience in machine engineering, with a focus on installing and maintaining complex systems.
-Practical knowledge of labeling and packaging equipment is highly desirable
-Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
-2 to 4 years of relevant experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or medical device sector.
