Role Overview
As a Hematology Technician, you will be responsible for executing critical steps in cell therapy manufacturing. Working in a GMP-compliant cleanroom, you will handle aseptic processing, material preparation, and product handling to support both clinical and commercial production. This role requires precision, strict adherence to protocols, and a commitment to maintaining top-tier quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and transfer materials, media, and components to manufacturing suites to support production operations.
- Perform cell therapy manufacturing processes in Grade A and B cleanroom environments, following detailed batch records and SOPs.
- Maintain cleanroom conditions in compliance with GMP regulations and strict contamination control procedures.
- Carry out visual inspections, cryopreservation, and quality control sample submissions.
- Troubleshoot processing and equipment issues as needed.
- Accurately document processes and contribute to investigations regarding deviations and process improvements.
- Assist in drafting and updating SOPs, batch records, and work instructions to align with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Supply Chain, and Process Development, to ensure seamless operations.
- MLO/MBO/HBO (equivalent to an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing, preferably within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or cell therapy.
- Understanding of aseptic processing and cleanroom operations.
- Ability to work in full gowning requirements and adhere to strict contamination control measures.
- Hands-on experience with biological sample handling, media preparation, and visual inspection is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, a compliance-driven mindset, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (Dutch is not required).
