About the role:
Our client, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking a Healthcare Information Specialist to join their team in Capelle aan den IJssel. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers, delivering high-quality medical and technical information with a focus on customer satisfaction. You'll respond to inquiries across multiple channels and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant communication in both English and the local language.
Key Responsibilities:
-Handle medical inquiries received via phone, email, web forms, live chat, or mail, ensuring responses meet required timelines and quality standards.
-Document all inquiries and responses meticulously, following internal procedures and regulatory guidelines.
-Identify and report adverse events and product quality complaints as required.
-Utilize approved English-language resources to provide -responses in the customer’s native language.
-Support therapeutic area teams with content management, escalation handling, and second-line activities when needed.
-Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service across multiple countries, and contribute to process improvements.
-Represent the Medical Information team within local operations when necessary, including reporting activities and training sessions.
What we are looking for:
-Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Healthcare-related field (required).
-1-2 years’ experience in medical information or a related field preferred.
-Strong background in customer service, ideally in a healthcare setting.
-Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Dutch (C2).
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the medical field is a plus.
-Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
