The Company

Responsibilities:

-Lead equipment inspection and maintenance activities across multiple units at the site.
-Take the lead in inspection activities related to moderately to highly complex work environments, processes, and materials.
-Participate in the development of inspection and test plans.
-Examine equipment, document inspection results, and provide recommendations on repair, upgrade, or retirement of equipment.
-Lead or actively participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and incident investigations related to equipment failures.
-Conduct technical training sessions for team members or contractors as needed.
-Direct and coordinate the work of contract inspectors and examiners, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
-Valid IKK Level 3 Certificate – IKK Inspection Specialist or Inspection Expert.
-Minimum 5+ years of experience in boiler and equipment construction within the (petro)chemical industry.
-Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, specifically RTOD and PRD.
-Strong knowledge of industry standards: ASME VIII-1 and ASME B31.3.
-Good command of the Dutch language (both spoken and written).
-Strong computer skills are essential.
-A valid VTw2 (Visual Welding Inspection) certificate is a plus.
-Possession of a VCA Vol certification is mandatory.
-Must be in good physical condition.
-Ability to work at heights using safety belts (no fear of heights).
-Ability to work in confined spaces (no claustrophobia).
