My client is a global market leader in the food/ FMCG industry

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Leader for our European business. In this role they will drive Demand Planning, S&OP and Customer Collaboration across Europe.


The main focus area will be to lead the team on:
- Team development ? Succession Planning ? Capability & skills improvement ? Productivity continuous improvement
- Demand Planning and S&OP ? Forecast Accuracy and Bias improvement ? Finished goods obsolete reduction ? Packaging obsoletes reduction in relation with Phase-in Phase-out process improvement ? Inventory reduction ? S&OP processes improvement and business impact delivery
Customer collaboration: ? Drive (SC) process optimization with key customers e.g. order/drop optimization, nominated delivery days, ? Trade terms negotiation (from a supply chain angle) ? Building relationship with Supply Chain Customers ? KPIs review and improvement
Other Supply-Chain improvement ? Lead the portfolio rationalization and minor its execution ? Define route to market for white places and improve existing ones based on portfolio and customer base
S&OP ? S&OP process implementation to deliver business impact ? Coaching & S&OP related processes governance implementation and scale-up ? Innovation performance review & improvement 


• 12+ years experience in Supply Chain, FMCG preferred
• Master degree Supply Chain or Equivalent
• Well rounded Supply Chain expertise, namely in customer service, demand forecasting, logistics, factory, Supply Planning, S&OP
• Proven ability to frame a strategy but also drive and support hands-on execution and operation
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with simultaneous project management
• Ability to work effectively across a matrix organization, facilitate cross-functional teams and influence change.
• Proven team building experience with ability to attract, develop and retain a high performing/scalable team, creating a world-class operations organization and manage people remotely across Europe
• Track record of achieving high business impact via process, organizational improvements, and infrastructure change in lean, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to build processes which will guarantee the sustainability of the improvements
