Role Description 
As a Scientist DSP you will represent DSP in multidisciplinary project team(s), being responsible for process development in that project, in close connection to all relevant stakeholders. The DSP department develops and characterizes processes for purifying and formulating recombinant viruses from harvest as a vaccine production platform.  

Responsibilities 
- Develop DSP processes using DoE for the assigned projects 
- Translate research goals into study design and study plans 
- Analyse data and write or coordinate scientific study reports 
- Scale-up/scale-down of DSP processes 


Requirements
- PhD in a relevant discipline (biotechnology, biochemistry, engineering) and industry experience or MSc/PDeng with >4 years of industry experience. 
- Experience with downstream process development using DoE, ideally with hands-on experience with DSP unit operations like IEX chromatography and UF/DF
- cGMP experience 
- Experience with Lean/Process Excellence preferred 
- Experience with vaccines is an advantage
