Professional Procurement Specialist

In addition to developing innovative therapies, our client focuses on developing, customizing and making treatments accessible to patients in a variety of therapeutic areas.  In addition to respiratory, pain, migraine and headache disorders, our client also helps develop oncology treatments and movement disorders.

Role description
As a Professional procurement specialist your responsibilities include establishing procurement strategy, managing categories, developing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing risks, engaging stakeholders, and implementing continuous improvement.

Responsibilities 
-Collaborate across functions to influence category strategies
-Ensure that the Sourcing Management Process is applied by cross-functional teams in compliance with company policies
-Increase our client’s ability to leverage volume through the defined strategy
-Develop and coordinate all sourcing activities across the categories, including the process of directing and approving competitive bidding activities conducted in each region

Requirements
-MSc or BSc in Business Administration, Finance or Supply Chain
-At least 3 years of working experience in international logistics
-Experience with Six Sigma, CPM, CPP
-Excellent supplier negotiation and conflict management skills
-Experience with the Sourcing Process Steps
-Business English skills
