The department
The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) department provides service in the field of environment, health and safety. The department is responsible for drawing up and evaluating the policy regarding the various EHS subjects. They also monitor the effectiveness of the programs by means of risk inventories, audits, inspections and surveys.

The position
As an occupational/Industrial hygienist you will proactively work towards a healthy working environment for our employees. Your responsibilities include the co-coordination and implementation of the occupational hygiene policy and you provide advice in the field of exposure to chemical, physical and biological aspects.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and coordinating the Industrial Hygiene program including hazardous materials, noise, vibration, radiation and ergonomics
- Recognizing and anticipating health hazards in the workplace, evaluating them and formulating and advising on proper management strategies
- Setting up and the execution of exposure assessments, elaborating and reporting measurement results and communicating results with employees
- Pro-active development and support for the implementation of control measures and preventive action plans
- Developing and implementing effective occupational hygiene training programs.

Qualification
- Completed HBO education in Occupational Hygiene,
-Having certification as occupational hygienist is an advantage
- Experience in implementing and managing occupational hygiene programs in the chemical / pharmaceutical sector or similar industries
- Knowledge of conducting exposure assessments (both qualitative and quantitative, experience with Advanched REACH Tool (ART) is a plus)
- Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
