Global Specification Manager
Our Client is a world leader in Essential dairy, plant-based product, early life nutrition and medical nutrition. They are at the top of the business leaderboard for dairy, plant-based, waters, infant nutrition and adult nutritional products. With products spanned across various continents and millions of people using their products.
The Global Specification Manager will manage the specifications for ingredients in Europe, which could include flavors, colors, minerals, vitamins, amino acids etc, as per business/project needs.
-Creating specifications to meet the needs of the end product, consumer & market
-Managing the Specifications approval process & maintaining up to date (SAP System) data will be a part of the role.
-Required to connect with multiple functions within Danone and with suppliers to align on details of specifications to ensure full food safety and regulatory compliance to ensure highest standards of finished products for sensitive customers.
-Additionally, it is required to participate in root cause analysis workshops and data analysis review.
-A Bachelors or Master’s degree in food science/technology, quality/safety/regulatory or related field
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in an ingredient, regulatory or quality related area in the food industry, preferably with ingredient specification management experience.
-Knowledge and experience working with ingredients specifications i.e. flavors, colors, minerals, vitamins, amino acids would be a definite plus, as well as knowledge of FSMP regulations, although not essential
-Knowledge of manufacturing process from R&D and regulatory POV is required
-Statistical knowledge is a plus
-Experience in SAP systems is a plus
-Good skills in MS Office, esp. Excel.
