About the Company:

Develop and contribute to the category strategy definition and oversee implementation across the company. Ensure best contractual conditions globally and drive supplier enabled innovation and supplier relationship management. Lead the ideation and execution of Global ‘Big Bets’ in coordination with the local, regional and global stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
- Build the category strategy based on the D2D (Design to Deliver) strategy and in alignment with the C&P guidelines in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
Support the regions to optimize their supplier portfolio according to the strategy.
- Engage and develop process with suppliers to ensure first access to innovation.
Develop and animate the category network with regional and local buyers and relevant stakeholders, connect with external experts and cross industry peers to drive continuous improvement.

MARKET ANALYIS / INTELLIGENCE & INNOVATION
- Develop and share market intelligence / drivers, supplier knowledge, technology evolution, innovation opportunities.

CONTRACT MANAGEMENT & SRM
- Develop and maintain best practice frame contracts and supply agreements and ensure implementation with all suppliers and in all CBUs.
- Ensure utilization and compliance of tools and processes.
- Develop and lead an efficient SRM process with key Global and Regional suppliers of the category.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Deliver 6%+ gross COGS productivity aligned to C&P and D2D objectives.
- Measure supplier performance through SET and propose and implement action plans to manage risks.
- Drive category performance across all pillars: risk management, supplier capacity, quality, total cost of ownership, security of supply, sustainability program

LEAD GLOBAL ‘BIG BETS’
- Lead the roll out and further development of the Export Control Tower Program in collaboration with the assigned project team, identified partner, regional Ops & C&P teams and other stakeholders.
- Lead the e-Sourcing stream, specifically transition of the tenders to our preferred e-Sourcing platforms Jaggaer & Zycus.
- Lead the data submission, analysis & communication of our external benchmarking process in collaboration with our chosen benchmark platform provider Xeneta.

More Responsibilities:
- Update a Global Category strategy for the Freight category.
- Lead Execution of e-sourcing projects with the D2D stakeholders.
- Kick-off the Export Control Tower: lead commercial stream and contracting process. Ensure successful transition.
- Manage the relationship with and innovation agenda for strategic carriers & forwarders at global and regional level.

Requirements:
- Min.5 year experience in procurement and/or supply chain, preferably managing Ocean & Air Freight in an FMCG environment or a Logistics company
- Experience in FMCG, Global Logistics Providers is preferred.
Qualified purchasing certification from an international association would be preferred (ie. MCIPS).
- Highly skilled in negotiation.
- Transversal and project management, able to successfully operate cross-functionally and cross-culturally
- Excellent Presentation / Communication skills
- Analytical & Fundamental IT skills.
