- Manage the lifecycle of assigned systems, including performance monitoring, reliability, and documentation.
- Support unplanned maintenance by troubleshooting technical issues and advising the integrated service provider.
- Drive maintenance improvements by reviewing prepared work, identifying optimisation opportunities, and improving execution quality.
- Co-develop and improve maintenance concepts, including preventive maintenance tasks, responsibilities, and supporting documentation.
- Lead root cause analyses (RCAs), identify recurring failure modes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to support utilities engineering projects within agreed timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
- Contribute to cross-functional stakeholder communication and ensure clear alignment on priorities, risks, and technical decisions.
- Participate in an on-call duty rota to support site operations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred), or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, or food) is highly valued.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of chiller systems (essential); exposure to HVAC and compressed air is beneficial.
- Familiarity with facility/utility equipment and building services.
- Comfortable working with documentation, structured problem solving, and stakeholder management.
- Able and willing to participate in an on-call duty schedule.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is strongly preferred for daily collaboration on-site.
