Role Overview
We are looking for a System Owner Engineer (Mechanical) to own, maintain, and continuously improve critical mechanical utility systems while ensuring GMP compliance. This is a fully onsite role with participation in an on-call duty rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage mechanical utility systems for reliability and compliance.
- Maintain Chillers (mandatory), HVAC, and compressed air systems.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments.
- Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
- Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or food manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with Chillers; HVAC knowledge required; compressed air is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch preferred.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (typically one week per month).
