Job Description:
This role is responsible for short term supply and production planning across a multi-market network. The focus is on ensuring finished goods availability within a 0-to-12-week horizon while balancing service level, inventory, cost and product freshness. The position plays a key role in scenario planning, exception management and cross functional collaboration across factories, markets and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain feasible short term production plans and communicate them to factory schedulers
- Own finished goods availability across assigned markets and manage product deployment within the network
- Manage demand and supply imbalances within the 0 to 12 week horizon and drive corrective actions
- Collaborate with factories, markets, material planners and suppliers to resolve capacity and material constraints
- Initiate scenario planning to solve supply shortages considering demand, inventory, expiry and priorities
- Monitor service level, inventory health and replenishment across the distribution network
- Identify opportunities to rebalance inventory between warehouses to improve service and reduce waste
- Drive root cause analysis for service and inventory issues and implement preventative actions
- Support new product launches, seasonal activities and special events from a planning perspective
- Monitor and analyses performance metrics related to service, cost and cash
- Ensure accuracy of product, production and supply network master data
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within supply planning processes
- Provide backup support for other planners when required
Requirements:
- Experience in supply planning or production planning within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of short term planning horizons and S and OE processes
- Ability to manage exceptions and prioritize actions in a complex supply network
- Experience working with ERP or planning systems
- Strong analytical and scenario planning skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across markets and factories
- Clear communication and escalation skills
- Experience with inventory management and service level optimization
