About the Role:
As a Material Planner, you will ensure the timely availability of raw materials across multiple European factories while optimizing inventory levels and controlling costs. You will manage end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay processes and define replenishment strategies based on demand and supply dynamics. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvements. You will monitor and act on MRP outputs using tools like SAP and Kinaxis, ensuring data accuracy and smooth operations. 

Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize replenishment strategies and inventory policies to ensure material availability while controlling costs and preventing obsolescence. 
- Review MRP outputs in systems like SAP and Kinaxis, create and manage purchase orders, and ensure timely order confirmations. 
- Handle supply disruptions, material shortages, and crisis situations by coordinating with stakeholders and implementing alternative solutions. 
- Maintain high data accuracy in planning systems and manage exceptions such as invoice discrepancies and system housekeeping. 
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to improve processes, evaluate supplier performance, and drive continuous supply chain improvements.


Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant experience in a supply chain or planning environment. 
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, inventory management, and procurement. 
- Hands-on experience with planning and ERP systems such as SAP, and preferably Advanced Planning Systems like Kinaxis, along with strong analytical skills. 
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive process improvements across internal teams and external suppliers. 
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (and/or Dutch), a results-driven mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
