A global pharmaceutical organization is expanding its regional supply chain operations team and is looking for a Senior Associate Supply Chain. The company operates in a highly regulated, international environment and focuses on delivering reliable product availability while continuously improving processes across regions and functions.
Role Description
As a Senior Associate Supply Chain, you will support the end-to-end lifecycle management of pharmaceutical products within the regional supply chain organization. Starting in a supportive role, you will receive extensive training and gradually take ownership of product-related activities. The role is strongly coordination-focused, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Marketing and Supply Chain teams. This position is explicitly suited for junior profiles who want to build a strong foundation in regional supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Operations Lead in managing all phases of the product lifecycle, with gradual ownership of assigned products
- Execute product lifecycle changes in line with the Regional Variation Master Plan
- Maintain and update the Regional Variation Master Plan in collaboration with key stakeholders, including regional and local Regulatory Affairs
- Perform labeling assessments in the relevant systems and complete associated checklists
- Support new product launches, including administrative and coordination activities
- Manage specialized shipping processes for assigned products
- Ensure right-first-time handover to production sites by confirming that all regional requirements are correctly documented in the appropriate systems
- Facilitate master data requests and lifecycle-related system activities
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between Supply Chain, Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing
- Support business case preparation and impact assessments related to launches and lifecycle management
- Execute registration sample and product demo requests
- Lead small improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization and standardization within the team
Requirements
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to work on-site in Breda during the training period (first 3 months: 3 days per week; thereafter at least 1 day per week)
- Comfortable working in a highly international, English-speaking environment
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Affinity with administrative processes and structured ways of working
- Basic familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial; SAP experience is a plus
- Interest in process improvement and openness to using digital or AI-supported tools
