Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Boxmeer. This role focuses on supporting ongoing production and contributing to process improvements and global projects within sterile manufacturing. You will work mainly with sterile biopharmaceutical products and be involved in process changes, investigations, and product or technology transfers. The role includes close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead process engineering activities in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Manage process changes related to APIs in veterinary pharmaceutical production
- Investigate manufacturing deviations and implement corrective actions (CAPAs)
- Support new product and technology transfers
- Identify and drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional investigations and improvement projects
- Ensure all activities comply with GMP and regulatory requirements
- Work with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external laboratories (occasional travel in Europe)
Requirements
- Degree in Process Technology, Bioprocess Technology, Pharmacy, or related field
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with strong GMP knowledge
- Experience in sterile manufacturing is a strong advantage
- Experience with change management and deviation handling
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills in a cross-functional environment
