An international organization active in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector is seeking a Maintenance & Automation Technician to support advanced equipment, automated systems, and technical operations across its production facilities. The environment is highly regulated, fast-paced, and focused on reliability and operational continuity.
Role Description
In this role, you will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support for automated material handling systems, computerized systems (level 3/4), and various mechanical/electrical equipment. You will contribute to system performance, documentation, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting of automated and computerized systems
- Support equipment start-ups and resolve system-related issues
- Maintain accurate work order documentation and GMP records (where applicable)
- Review and update technical documents, drawings, and SOPs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure minimal operational impact
- Provide technical guidance and participate in required training
- Assist in implementing improvements and resolving complex technical problems
Requirements
- MBO+ level achieved through education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following: automated material handling systems, warehousing control systems, level 3/4 systems, production or equipment operations, maintenance, automation
- Background in software engineering with mechanical/electrical knowledge, or electrical engineering with automation experience
- Strong understanding of automated systems and material flow
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
